Sean Monro
Architectural Designer
Sean joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2023 and is currently involved in the practice’s housing & higher education projects.
Prior to joining the practice, Sean was a lead designer at Stanton Williams Architects with responsibility for a number of housing and higher education projects for the practice, including Stirling Prize nominated Eddington Key Worker Housing in Cambridge. Before this, Sean gained experience at several design-led practices in New Zealand, including Stevens Lawson Architects.
Sean studied architecture at UNITEC, Auckland New Zealand, graduating in 2009. While studying, Sean also taught an undergraduate architecture studio at Auckland University.
